The blockchain project Protocon has recently declared a strategic partnership with Open Meta, a Web3 company specializing in software design and development for game developers. This collaboration aims to facilitate the creation of custom Metaverses.
Under this strategic business agreement, the two parties are set to develop a Protocon Metaverse NFT platform. This platform will enable users to access and experience a diverse array of Metaverse content, marking a significant step in expanding the reach and capabilities of Metaverse technologies.
Protocon Metaverse NFT Platform
OpenMeta Co. Ltd operates Open Meta City, a proprietary Metaverse real estate platform. Since its launch in January, Open Meta has sold 106,000 apartments across 10 different districts in Seoul. The platform allows potential buyers to engage in real unit subscriptions within a Metaverse environment. However, it experienced a reduction ratio of 6,000 to 1 as of June.
Under the recently announced agreement, Protocon will collaborate with Open Meta to create a dynamic environment featuring users’ diverse Metaverse content. This partnership will merge blockchain technology with Open Meta’s Metaverse platform. Additionally, both parties will provide technical support for the development of an NFT trading platform and engage in co-marketing efforts to advise on and promote the platform. Open Meta CEO Heejong Park and Protocon CEO Myung-san Jun announced these developments.
The partnership is poised to leverage Protocon’s expertise in blockchain technology and business development capabilities, enabling global users to interact in a consistently active digital environment.
Protocon has demonstrated the effectiveness of its technical solutions in the market. They securely link blocks by issuing sequential statements about their contract model, an alternative to smart contract and real hash technology. This collaboration with Open Meta aligns perfectly with Protocon’s vision of establishing a global, blockchain-based Metaverse platform.

Protocon, short for Protocol Economy Network, is a blockchain project aimed at building Web3 technology. The development of its mainnet commenced in 2019, with the official launch scheduled for August this year.
